We had the opportunity to explore the world-famous USS Liberty wreck in Tulamben, just a short distance from the hotel. With over 20 logged dives in our personal log books, we were impressed with the quality of the diving experience. The waters around Amed are protected, allowing for good diving even during the rainy season. we enjoyed snorkeling in the beautiful bay and relaxing on the white sand beach. Amed Lodge's location is truly unbeatable for underwater exploration.
My wife says that it would be great for Amed Lodge to provide more family-friendly amenities for children.

One thing I absolutely loved about Amed Lodge was its charming and cozy decor. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt like I was in a tropical paradise. The beautifully decorated general areas, with their colorful flowers and traditional Balinese artwork, were a delight to explore. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The pathways were well-maintained and easy to navigate, making it convenient for me to move around without any difficulty.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation experience for senior people is for the staff to be a bit more attentive and considerate. While they were pleasant and helpful overall, there were times when I felt like they could have been more proactive in anticipating our needs.
